Retiro Park bike Tour

The Retiro Park bike tour will take you back to the 16th and 17th centuries, the centuries when Spain shone in art, literature and now in history.

On our way, places you have to remember:

Pass through the Puerta del Sol, cross the Literary Quarter (Barrio de las Letras) until you reach the Paseo del Prado and greet the Goddess Cibeles fountain before taking the Calle Alcalá towards the Puerta de Alcalá.

Once inside the Retiro:

We enter the Great Pond and its boats, Crystal Palace supported by its lake and we will see the statue of the Fallen Angel.
The rose garden, the gardens of Cecilio Rodríguez and the 17th-century Parterre in the spring are very unusual, but the rest of the year they don’t detract from anything. Find out where the most central fairs and races are held: on the Carriage Walk and see if you can count how many trails cover its 118 hectares (1,180,000 m2) of surface area.
